Since you've been gone,
Even though it's been a day, it's seemed like so long.

You were my best friend,
'Til the very end.

This the afternoon after school my mom told me you were dead,
A lot of thoughts went through my head,

Thoughts like, WHY?
and it was thoughts like that, that would make me cry.

Now I think I never did enough for you.
It's been hard for me to pull through,
Facing the facts were also hard, too,

Since you've been gone
I realize how much I love you.
